Towards a flood vulnerability assessment of watershed using integration of decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory, analytical network process, and fuzzy theories

Among natural disasters, flood is increasingly recognized as a serious worldwide concern that causes the most damages in parts of agriculture, fishery, housing, and infrastructure strongly affects economic social activities. Universally, there requirement to increase our conception vulnerability outstretch methods tools assess it. Spatial analysis part non-structural measures prevent reduce destructive effects. Hence, current study proposes methodology for assessing area watershed severely flooded Iran (i.e., Kashkan Watershed). First interdependency among criteria (including population density (PD), livestock (LD), percentage farmers ranchers (PFR), distance industrial mining areas (DTIM), tourist cultural heritage (DTTCH), land use, residential (DTRe), road (DTR), stream (DTS)) was conducted using decision-making trial evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) method. cause effect factors their interaction levels whole network were investigated.
